Caramel Frosting

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons evaporated milk
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed
  • confectioners' sugar

Recipe

  • 1 put butter, salt, evaporated milk and brown sugar in small saucepan.
  • 2 heat gently just to melt butter.
  • 3 mix until sugar dissolves.
  • 4 add enough sifted confectioner's sugar to make it of the consistency to spread.
  • 5 spread on cake and enjoy.
