Buttermilk Pancakes

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup buttermilk (fresh works better than powdered)
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 mix wet ingredients together in a bowl.
  • 2 add dry ingredients and stir until just mixed.
  • 3 heat oil on a griddle (or use no-stick spray).
  • 4 drop batter by large spoonfuls onto pan.
  • 5 turn when they are bubbly on top and golden brown on the bottom.
  • 6 remove from griddle when golden brown.
  • 7 eat.
