Ingredients

- 1 lb light brown sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
Recipe
- 1 combine brown sugar, sugar, eggs and butter.
- 2 beat until light.
- 3 sift together flour, baking powder and salt;.
- 4 blend into egg mixture.
- 5 mix well and add vanilla and nuts.
- 6 spoon into a greased and floured 13x9-inch baking pan.
- 7 bake at 325°f for 45 minutes until firm around edges.
- 8 center will be soft.
