Banana Pound Cake

Ingredients
- 2 cups unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 whole eggs, at room temperature
- 4 cups self-rising flour
- 2 cups bananas, mashed (very ripe)
Recipe
- 1 preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 heavily grease and flour a 10-inch bundt pan.
- 3 in a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
- 4 beat in the eggs.
- 5 beat in 2 cups of the flour, then beat in the bananas.
- 6 beat in the remaining 2 cups of flour.
- 7 pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until a wooden pick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
- 8 turn cake out onto a rack to cool.
