Betty Crocker Coffee Cake Circa 1973

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup vegetable oil
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup milk
• 3 cups flour
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 4 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 3/4 cup brown sugar
• 1 -2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 3 tablespoons melted butter
• 1 cup chopped nuts (i left them out) (optional)

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 350.
• 2 combine oil, eggs and milk in a medium bowl. mix dry ingredients in large bowl.
• 3 mix wet ingredients into the flour mixture until combined.
• 4 spread batter into a sprayed 9 x 13 baking pan. combine topping ingredients and sprinkle over batter.
• 5 bake for 35 minutes. let cool about 15 minutes before eating.
