Cherry Cheesecake

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons margarine, melted
  • 24 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling

Recipe

  • 1 combine crumbs and margarine; press onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan.
  • 2 bake at 325°f for 10 minutes.
  • 3 combine cream cheese and sugar, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended.
  • 4 add eggs, one at a time mixing well after each addition.
  • 5 blend in vanilla; pour over crust.
  • 6 bake at 450°f for 10 minutes.
  • 7 reduce oven temperature to 250°f; continue baking 25 to 30 minutes or until set.
  • 8 loosen cake from rim of pan; cool before removing rim of pan.
  • 9 chill.
  • 10 top with pie filling just before serving.
