Brownie Pudding Cake

Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 cups boiling water
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350°f
- 2 for pudding, combine all ingredients in a medium bowl; pour into greased 8-inch square baking dish.
- 3 for topping, combine sugar and cocoa in a small bowl; gradually stir in boiling water.
- 4 pour over pudding. do not stir.
- 5 bake 45 minutes. topping will sink and the pudding will rise to the top.
- 6 allow to cool slightly before serving. serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
