Cherry Cobbler

Total Time: 1 hr 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 cans sour cherries, drained
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup oleo or 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 dash salt
  • sugar, for top of cherries

Recipe

  • 1 mix together by hand, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup flour, salt and 1 stick of melted oleo with two eggs.
  • 2 set aside.
  • 3 drain the cherries and put in the bottom of a round cake pan.
  • 4 sprinkle some sugar over top of cherries.
  • 5 just enough to sweeten the cherries.
  • 6 spoon the dough mixture over the cherries.
  • 7 bake 350° for 1 hour.
