Apple Pancake

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 3/4 cup refined flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 3 tablespoons oil

Recipe

  • 1 for filling: 2 apples 1 tbsp butter 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder sift refined flour, salt, baking powder and sugar.
  • 2 beat eggs one at a time.
  • 3 add milk, water and essence.
  • 4 whisk continously.
  • 5 make a well in the sifted ingredients.
  • 6 pour liquid ingredients in this.
  • 7 combine with a few swift strokes.
  • 8 heat a 5" griddle.
  • 9 let the batter spread over the bottom of the griddle.
  • 10 cook the pancake over moderate heat.
  • 11 when brown underneath, reverse the side and brown the other side.
  • 12 use a little oil for each pancake.
  • 13 spread the filling on the pancake.
  • 14 roll up and serve.
  • 15 for the filling: peel, core and thinly slice the apples.
  • 16 cook for a few seconds in butter and sprinkle with cinnamon powder.
  • 17 keep aside till needed.
