Buckwheat Pancakes For A Bunch

Total Time: 18 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 3 mins

Ingredients

  • 12 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups buckwheat flour
  • 3 cups wheat flour
  • 1 cup baking powder
  • 1/4 cup salt
  • 1/4 cup baking soda
  • 18 eggs
  • 6 quarts whole milk

Recipe

  • 1 1. mix dry ingredients (first 5) together.
  • 2 2. mix wet ingredients together.
  • 3 3. mix wet mixture into dry mixture -- mix thouroughly.
  • 4 preheat griddle at medium heat setting.
  • 5 ladle 1/2 to 2/3 cup per pancake onto lightly oiled griddle.
  • 6 cook for about 2 minutes per side.
  • 7 these pancakes need to cook slower than normal pancakes or they will get too dark. serve with berries, syrup or apple sauce.enjoy!
