Chaucktau Cake

Ingredients

  • Servings: 16
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa
  • 2 teaspoons cocoa
  • 1 1/2 cups pumpkin puree
  • 1 1/2 cups oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 (1 lb) box powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 cup pecans

Recipe

  • 1 beat eggs and add sugar. beat well.
  • 2 add flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, 1 tablespoon cocoa, pumpkin, oil, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. mix well.
  • 3 pour into a greased 13x9 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. cool.
  • 4 mix powdered sugar, 2 teaspoons cocoa, butter, cream cheese, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and milk until smooth and creamy. add pecans.
  • 5 frost cooled cake.
