Bubble And Squeak

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 slices bacon
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 medium potato, cooked and mashed
  • 1/4 head cabbage, shredded and lightly steamed

Recipe

  • 1 cook bacon slices in a large skillet and remove when crispy. crumble and set aside.
  • 2 add onions to pan and gently fry until tender. add potato and cabbage. press together to form a large cake. cook until first side is brown then turn with a spatula and brown the other side.
  • 3 slide out from pan and sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
  • 4 serve with toast and/or eggs.
