Apple Cake With A Crumble Topping

Ingredients

• 8 -10 apples, shredded
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 teaspoon lemon juice
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup soft butter or 1 cup margarine
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 pinch salt
• 3 cups flour

Recipe

• 1 fruit filling: mix apples with other ingredients and set aside.
• 2 dough: cream together margarine and sugar.
• 3 mix in the rest of the ingredients.
• 4 press 1/2 of the dough into a greased 9 x 13- inch pan.
• 5 pour fruit on top.
• 6 crumble rest of dough on top.
• 7 bake for 1- 1/4 hours at 350 degrees f.
