Bev's Coffee Cake

Ingredients

- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup crushed walnuts
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup sugar
Recipe
- 1 cream butter and one cup sugar.
- 2 add effs, one at a time, beating well after each.
- 3 mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt and add to mixture along with sour cream.
- 4 put one-half of batter in a greased pan (a 9x9 inch pan works well).
- 5 sprinkle one-half of the topping in pan, add the rest of the batter and then sprinkle the rest of the topping over the top.
- 6 bake in a preheated oven at 175c (350f) until the top is nicely browned, about 30 minutes but keeping checking after 25 minutes.
