Carrot Cake

Total Time: 1 hr 50 mins Preparation Time: 1 hr Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 20
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups canola oil
  • 3 cups carrots, grated
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1 lb powdered sugar

Recipe

  • 1 beat all ingredients in large bowl until smooth.
  • 2 pour into 9 x 13 pan or 2 9" layer pans.
  • 3 bake at 350°f 2 layer 35-45 minute.
  • 4 13 x 9 45-50 minute.
  • 5 let cake cool.
  • 6 beat frosting ingredients until smooth.
  • 7 frost cake. sprinkle on some chopped nuts if desired.
