Betty Crocker Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

Total Time: 17 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 12 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (18 1/2 ounce) box betty crocker supermoist devil's food cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°.
  • 2 beat half the dry cake mix, the butter, vanilla, and eggs in a large bowl on medium speed until smooth, or mix with a spoon.
  • 3 stir in remaining cake mix, the nuts (if used), and chocolate chips.
  • 4 drop dough by rounded tsps about 2-inches apart onto the ungreased cookie sheet.
  • 5 bake 10-12 minutes or until edges are set (the centers will be soft).
  • 6 cool 1 minute, remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
