Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 lb margarine
Recipe
- 1 cake:.
- 2 combine all ingredients and mix well. pour into 8x12 inch baking pan that is well greased. bake at 350f for 30 minutes.
- 3 icing:
- 4 heat sugar, margarine and milk to boiling. stir once. boil for 7 minutes, add coconut and pecans. beat until thick and cool. pour over cake while still in pan. cut into squares and serve.
