A Different Black Forest Dump Cake

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
  • 1 (18 1/2 ounce) package devil's food cake mix (without pudding)
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)
  • whipped topping
  • chocolate bar, shavings

Recipe

  • 1 drain pineapple, reserve liquid.
  • 2 spread pineapple in a lightly greased 13x9 inch pan.
  • 3 add pie filling, spreading gently.
  • 4 sprinkle dry cake mix over pie filling.
  • 5 sprinkle with pecans.
  • 6 combine butter and reserved pineapple liquid.
  • 7 drizzle on cake mixture.
  • 8 bake at 350°f for 35 to 40 minutes.
  • 9 cool and cut into squares, top with whipped topping and chocolate shavings.
