Carrot Cake
Ingredients
- Servings: 12
- 3 cups sugar
- 3 cups self rising flour
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cups cooking oil
- 4 eggs
- 3 cups grated carrots
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 12 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2-1 cup margarine, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 boxes powdered sugar
- 1 cup nuts
Recipe
- 1 grease and flour 2 9-inch or 3 8-inch cake pans.
- 2 mix all dry cake ingredients.
- 3 add oil and eggs.
- 4 add carrots and nuts.
- 5 mix well.
- 6 pour into pans and bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350.
- 7 mix all frosting ingredients well and spread between layers and top of cake.
