Cherries 'n Cream Dessert Squares

• 1 1/2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs or 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
• 2 tablespoons sugar
• 1/3 cup melted butter
• 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 cups miniature marshmallows
• 1 cup whipping cream, whipped
• 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
• 1/2 teaspoon almond extract

Recipe

• 1 combine crust ingredients, press into ungreased 9 x 13 pan. refrigerate while preparing filling.
• 2 beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla til fluffy.
• 3 fold in marshmallows and whipped cream.
• 4 spread over crust.
• 5 in a small bowl, combine cherry pie filling and almond extract.
• 6 spread carefully over cream layer.
• 7 refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
• 8 store in fridge.
