Bubble Cake

Total Time: 2 hrs Preparation Time: 1 hr 30 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 1 1/4 ounces yeast
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs, well beaten
  • 3 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup butter

Recipe

  • 1 in a large bowl mix yeast in warm milk.
  • 2 add sugar, melted butter, salt, and eggs to milk and mix well.
  • 3 stir in flour 1 cup at a time.
  • 4 let dough raise for about an hour in a warm place ( i use the oven).
  • 5 work down the dough then let dough rest for a few minutes.
  • 6 in a medium bowl mix 1 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 bottle of cinnamon.
  • 7 in a separate bowl melt 1 1/2 sticks of butter.
  • 8 pull chunks of dough off and dip into butter, then into sugar mixture. place in bunt pan. continue this step till all dough has been dipped and coated.
  • 9 pour the remaining butter and sugar over the top.
  • 10 bake at 350 for 30 - 35 minutes.
