Apple Pie Filling Cake

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 3 (21 ounce) cans apple pie filling
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 (18 1/4 ounce) box butter pecan cake mix
  • 1 cup butter, cubed
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 lightly grease a 13x9x2-inch baking dish.
  • 3 spoon apple pie filling into prepared baking dish and sprinkle with brown sugar.
  • 4 spread dry cake mix over brown sugar and apples.
  • 5 do not stir.
  • 6 sprinkle cubed butter over cake mix.
  • 7 bake for 40 minutes.
  • 8 remove from oven and sprinkle with pecans.
  • 9 return to oven and bake for 15 minutes.
