- 3 (21 ounce) cans apple pie filling
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 (18 1/4 ounce) box butter pecan cake mix
- 1 cup butter, cubed
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 lightly grease a 13x9x2-inch baking dish.
- 3 spoon apple pie filling into prepared baking dish and sprinkle with brown sugar.
- 4 spread dry cake mix over brown sugar and apples.
- 5 do not stir.
- 6 sprinkle cubed butter over cake mix.
- 7 bake for 40 minutes.
- 8 remove from oven and sprinkle with pecans.
- 9 return to oven and bake for 15 minutes.
