Chelsea Cake

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 (1/4 ounce) packages active dry yeast
  • 4 cups flour
  • 7 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup ground almonds
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 3 tablespoons jam

Recipe

  • 1 to make yeast dough, stir a pinch of sugar into warm milk and sprinkle with yeast.
