Banana Nut Cake

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons sour milk
  • 4 bananas, crushed
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1/3 cup margarine, melted
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cream or 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 beat together sugar, margarine and egg.
  • 2 add and stir in soda, milk and bananas.
  • 3 add flour, baking powder, crushed nuts and vanilla.
  • 4 bake about 25 minutes at 375 degrees.
  • 5 melt margarine. then add powdered sugar, milk and vanilla. keep at low heat until golden. stir until smooth and spread on cake.
