Brussels Waffles

Ingredients

- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup melted butter
- 3 cups flour
- 2/3 ounce yeast
- 12 tablespoons milk, divided
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 pinch salt
Recipe
- 1 dissolve the yeast in 6 tablespoons of milk and let develop for 10 minutes. stir in the flour and let rise at warm temperature, keeping away from drafts, until double.
- 2 add the butter, sugar, egg yolks, salt and remaining milk mix thoroughly, cover, and rest in refrigerator overnight.
- 3 when ready, use ladle and pour into waffle iron, cooking until golden brown.
