Aunt Mihee's Carrot Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups grated carrots
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 0.5 (4 lb) box powdered sugar

Recipe

  • 1 mix flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. make a well in the middle and put the eggs, oil, and vanilla in the center. combine, then add the pineapple and carrots.
  • 2 bake at 325 degrees f for 60 minutes in a 9x13 pan.
  • 3 for frosting, mix all ingredients until smooth. wait for cake to cool, then spread on top.
