Blintz Souffle

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 1/4 lb butter
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups sour cream
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 1 pint cottage cheese (2 cups)
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
- 2 butter a 13x9-inch baking dish.
- 3 in blender or large bowl, mix butter, sugar, eggs, sour cream, orange juice, flour and baking powder until well blended.
- 4 pour 1/2 the batter in the dish.
- 5 to prepare filling mix the cream cheese, cottage cheese, egg yolks, sugar and vanilla till well blended.
- 6 pour this filling on top of the baking pan mixture.
- 7 pour remaining batter on top.
- 8 * unbaked souffle may be covered & refrigerated overnight up to this point.
- 9 before baking, bring to room temperature.
- 10 bake for 50-60 minutes.
