Caramel Bars

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (14 ounce) package kraft caramels
  • 1 (20 ounce) box german chocolate cake mix
  • 1 (12 ounce) bag chocolate chips
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk (split)
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)

Recipe

  • 1 mix together dry cake mix, melted butter, and 1/3 cup of evaporated milk with a mixer.
  • 2 put 1/2 of mixture in the bottom of a greased 9 x 13 pan.
  • 3 bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • 4 sprinkle chocolate chips on top of cake.
  • 5 melt caramels and other 1/3 cup of evaporated milk in a saucepan. pour over chocolate chips.
  • 6 take remaining cake mix mixture and crumble on top.
  • 7 bake again for 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • 8 enjoy!
