Caramel Apple Tart In The Food Processor

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 60 g butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 teaspoons cold butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 -4 apples, peeled corred and thinly sliced

Recipe

  • 1 for the cake place all ingredients in the processor and mix until cake resembles cormeal.
  • 2 spread into well-buttered 23cm springform tin.
  • 3 place apple slices over top. (you can make slices in the food processor as well).
  • 4 for the topping again place all ingredients in the food processor and process until sugar dissolves.
  • 5 spread mixture over the top of the cake.
  • 6 bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees celcius for 40-45 minutes.
