Blintz Brunch Bake

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons lemon rind, grated
  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar (optional)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 (15 ounce) container ricotta cheese
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • 2 beat cream cheese, ricotta cheese, 2 of the eggs, lemon juice and zest with electric mixer on med speed until well blended.
  • 3 set aside.
  • 4 place flour, butter, remaining 3 eggs, remaining 1/2 cup sugar, milk and baking powder in separate bowl; beat with wire wisk until well blended.
  • 5 spread 1/3 of the dough onto bottom of greased 13x9 inch baking dish; cover with cream cheese mixture.
  • 6 top with spoonfuls of the remaining dough.
  • 7 bake 45 minutes or until center is set.cut into 16 pieces to serve.sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
