Blueberry Crumb Cake

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup soft shortening (butter can be substituted)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups blueberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup soft butter
  • 1/2-1 teaspoon cinnamon

Recipe

  • 1 grease and flour a 9x9 or 7x11 pan.
  • 2 mix sugar, shortening and egg thoroughly.
  • 3 stir in milk.
  • 4 blend dry ingredients.
  • 5 carefully blend in blueberries.
  • 6 spread batter in pan.
  • 7 mix ingredients for topping and blend with pastry blender (or knife).
  • 8 sprinkle cake with topping.
  • 9 bake at 375°f for 35 minutes.
