Breakfast Pudding Cake

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 cup oats
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 1/4 cups pastry flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon clove
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350.
  • 2 cook oats in boiling water until tender.
  • 3 mix in next five ingredients and beat until smooth.
  • 4 combine remaining ingredients in a separate bowl and then stir into batter.
  • 5 pour mixture into an oiled 9" square pan.
  • 6 bake at 350 f for 55-60 minutes or until done.
