Applesauce Spice Cake

Ingredients

• 1 (18 ounce) box spice cake mix
• 1 1/4 cups applesauce
• 3 large eggs
• 1/3 cup vegetable oil
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon ginger
• 1/4 teaspoon cardamom

Recipe

• 1 pre-heat the oven to 350.
• 2 grease and flour a 13 x 9 cake pan or two 9-inch cake pans.
• 3 put all ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix on low speed for 1 minute.
• 4 stop the mixer and scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl.
• 5 mix for 2 minutes on high speed and pour into pan(s).
• 6 bake until a cake tester comes out clean, about 40 minutes for a 13 x 9 pan, 30 minutes for 9-inch pans.
• 7 frost as desired.
