Brownstone Front Chocolate Cake

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 1 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs, separated
  • 2 ounces melted chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Recipe

  • 1 for cake: preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 grease and flour.
  • 3 2 9-inch cake pans.
  • 4 cream butter and sugar.
  • 5 add beaten egg yolks and melted chocolate to mixture.
