Chai Cupcakes

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon chai tea mix
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven 350 degrees. combine dry ingredients in small bowl. beat in butter, brown sugar, and vanilla in a medium bowl with an electric mixer. add eggs one at a time, beating until just blended. on low speed add dry ingredients and milk. bake for 20-25 minutes.
- 2 topping: beat cream until thickened (adding chai flavoring if desired) spoon the thickened cream on top of each cupcake and dust tops with cinnamon.
