Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

• 125 g soft butter, softened
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 1/2 cups plain flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 pinch salt
• 1 tablespoon cocoa
• 1/4 cup chocolate, buttons
• 1/4 cup milk chocolate, buttons
• 1/4 cup dark chocolate, buttons

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 180°c.
• 2 using your electric beater, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, then add the eggs and beat well.
• 3 sift in the flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa, and combine well.
• 4 add the chocolate buttons and mix well.
• 5 using your fingers, roll teaspoons of mixture into balls and place onto a lightly greased paper-lined tray, flatten slightly with a fork.
• 6 bake for 15 minutes and cool on a cake rack.
