Black Forest Dump Cake

Ingredients

• 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple
• 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
• 1 package devil's food cake mix
• 1 cup chopped pecans
• 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, melted
• cool whip (optional)

Recipe

• 1 drain pineapple,reserving liquid.
• 2 spread pineapple in a lightly greased 13x9x2 inch pan,add pie filling,spreading gently.
• 3 sprinkle dry cake mix on pie filling,top with pecans
• 4 combine butter and reserved pineapple liquid,drizzle on mixture in pan.
• 5 bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes.
• 6 cut into squares and top with cool whip.
