Blueberries 'n Cheese Coffeecake

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 1 teaspoon lemon peel, grated
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon lemon peel, grated
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Recipe

  • 1 beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • 2 add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • 3 in a separate bowl, combine 1 cup of flour, baking powder, and salt.
