Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 3/4 cup oil
- 4 eggs
- 3 cups carrots, grated
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 cup margarine or 1/4 cup butter
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 3/4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1/2 cup coconut
- 1/2 cup raisins
Recipe
- 1 measure all ingredients and mix in a large bowl- beat for 4 minutes.
- 2 pour into a 9"x13" greased pan.
- 3 bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
- 4 to make frosting, cream margarine, cream cheese and vanilla; fold in remaining ingredients.
- 5 frost cake when cake is cool.
