Choco Cream Cake

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup cocoa
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract (or you can use vanilla if you prefer)

Recipe

  • 1 in a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt until well blended.
  • 2 add the softened butter, sour cream, eggs and extract and blend for 3 minutes on medium speed.
  • 3 pour into a greased and floured tube pan.
  • 4 bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
