Chips Ahoy Streusel Coffee Cake

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 24
  • 20 chips ahoy chocolate chip cookies, coarsely chopped
  • 12 chips ahoy chocolate chip cookies, finely crushed
  • 1 (18 ounce) box yellow cake mix
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup margarine, softened
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup coconut
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup margarine, melted

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350.
  • 2 grease and flour 13x9 pan.
  • 3 chop and crush cookies separately and set aside.
  • 4 mix cake mix, water, softened margarine, eggs together well.
  • 5 blend in sour cream.
  • 6 stir in chopped cookies.
  • 7 pour into prepared pan.
  • 8 mix cookie crumbs, pecans, coconut, brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • 9 stir in melted margarine.
  • 10 sprinkle over cake batter.
  • 11 bake 40 minutes ot until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • 12 cool completely.
  • 13 drizzle with powdered sugar glaze if desired.
