Banana And Mars Bar Cake

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 150 g butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 bananas, mashed
  • 2 cups self-raising flour
  • 3 (60 g) mars bars, chopped
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup icing sugar
  • 2 tablespoons caramel topping
  • 2 teaspoons hot water

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 180°c.
  • 2 line a 7 x 11 x 21cm loaf pan with non-stick baking paper.
  • 3 beat 150g butter and 1/4 cup (100g) brown sugar until pale and creamy.
  • 4 beat in 2 eggs and 2 bananas, mashed.
  • 5 combine 2 cups (300g) self-raising flour and 3 x 60g mars bars, chopped.
  • 6 fold into the butter mixture with 1/2 cup (125ml) milk.
  • 7 spoon into pan.
  • 8 bake for 50-55 minutes. set aside to cool.
  • 9 combine 1 cup (150g) icing sugar, 2 tbs caramel topping and 2 tsp hot water.
  • 10 drizzle over the cake to serve.
