Chocolate - Orange Mousse Frosting

Ingredients

- 1 cup sugar 
- 3 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch 
- 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped fine 
- 1 cup boiling water 
- 1 tablespoon grand marnier or 1 tablespoon orange liqueur 
- 2 tablespoons butter, cut into pieces and softened 
-  bowl of ice and cold water 
Recipe
- 1 in a heavy saucepan, whisk together the sugar, cornstarch and chocolate. whisk in the boiling water. 
- 2 bring the mixture to a boil over moderate heat, whisking constantly. simmer, whisking, for 2 minutes. whisk in the liqueur. 
- 3 transfer the mixture to a metal bowl. with an electric mixer, beat in the butter until incorporated.
