Cherry Coffee Cake

Ingredients
- Servings: 12
- 1 cup sour cream 
- 1/4 cup water 
- 3 eggs 
- 1 package cake mix 
- 1 can cherry pie filling 
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds 
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar 
- 2 tablespoons milk 
- 1 teaspoon almond flavoring 
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees. 
- 2 grease and lightly flour a jelly roll pan (15 x 10 x 1). 
- 3 important that the pan be 1" deep. 
- 4 mix together sour cream, water and eggs. 
- 5 stir in dry cake mix (will be lumpy). 
- 6 spread mixture into jelly roll pan. 
- 7 drop cherry pie filling by spoonfuls over batter. 
- 8 bake for 25 to 30 minutes. 
- 9 cool, then sprinkle with almonds. 
- 10 for the glaze, mix together the 1-1/2 cups of powdered sugar, 2 t. 
- 11 milk, and 1 t. 
- 12 almond flavoring.
